I have added items but they are not found when using the Patron Search.

This problem has been solved in 3.0.0.9. Download the update (within ResourceMate click on Help, Check Internet for ResourceMate updates or go here). You will need to Rebuild your Patron Search table after you have updated to 3.0.0.9. To do this click on Utilities, System Utilities, Rebuild Patron Search.

When I try to run patron search from a station I get "rmstation: cannot write to read-only file"

The user logged into the station has to be able to change rmstation.dat and rmstation.idx. You will have to either change permissions on these two files or possibly the Data folder.
