I get the error message "SMTP: Failed on Connection"
When the ResourceMate system updater is finished downloading an update, it sends an e-mail to Jaywil Software (see our privacy policy) so we can keep our records up to date. Either your firewall or Internet blocking software is not allowing an application (rmupdater.exe) to send an e-mail. See the next support topic.
To prevent ResourceMate from always checking for updates, click on Utilities, Preferences. on the right side you will see "Check for updates at Startup". Uncheck that box and click Ok. To check for updates click on Help, Check Internet for ResourceMate updates.
