Refreshing the Web Search Database overview

From within ResourceMateŽ:

In ResourceMateŽ you click on the Utilities menu, then on Create Web Search File. This creates a tab-delimited ASCII text file that you then publish to your web site using an FTP program. Place the file in the same location where the web search code is looking for the file (usually a folder called libsearch).

Independent of ResourceMateŽ:

ResourceMateŽ is not required in order to create the necessary web search data file; it is possible to create this file manually. Create a tab-delimited ASCII file that includes the following fields: title, sub-title, series, author, 2nd author, 3rd author, publisher, category, call number, ISBN, subject1, subject2, subject3, and subject4. You then publish this file to your web site using an FTP program. Place the file in the same location where the web search code is looking for the file (usually a folder called libsearch).
