The Extended Circulation Add
On Module includes the following features:
Setup circulation
rules such as:
- Membership
expiration.
- Max.
number of Items checked out per Patron.
- Max. number
of items checked out per family.
- Cannot check
out or renew if patron fine greater than x.
- Cannot check
out or renew if family fine greater than x.
- Max. accumulated
fine per Patron.
- Max. accumulated
fine per family.
- Max. number
of Items overdue per Patron.
- Max. number
of items overdue per family.
- Max. fine per item
- Can not check out if Patron
has an item overdue by x days
- Can not check out if Family
has an item overdue by x days
- Do not create fine if less
than x.xx
These can be established
system wide, and privileges can be given or taken away for a particular
Patron Group (ex. Teachers), or for individual patrons (ex. Principal).
Set rules so that
Patrons cannot check out based on Location, and Resource Type (Regular
and Plus already allow cannot check out based on Status and Category).
Holidays can be
entered so fines are not calculated on those days. Allows librarian to
set up extra Patron Groups (Teachers, Students).
Option that renewal
does the equivalent of a check in and check out (great for statistical
purposes)
