How Do I's

Congratulations on your purchase of the Spell Check Add On Module.

To confirm that Spell Check is activated, click on Help, About ResourceMate 3.0.  You will see Spell Check in the Add On: section.

Note to Plus users with Volunteers doing entry

Your volunteers should also have Spell Check activated on their computers.  Once they have updated their software to the required version for Spell Checker (3.0.0.20), click on Plus, Export to Volunteer to send them the file that will activate Spell Check on their copy of  ResourceMate.

Spell Check is configured and ready to go.

Spell Check checks the entire record (Item, Patron, Resource Type) at once.  It does not check field by field, word by word as you type.  As a result of that, we recommend the "Check before Save" option always be checked.

You can find spell checking in

• File, Items
• File, Patrons
• File, Resource Types

Click on

in the Spell check sidebar

• Reports, Report Title/Header/Footer (in the Modify comment section)
• Reports, Receipt Templates (in the Modify comment section)
• File, Items, New, All Data Grid

Click on

To exclude an item, patron or resource type field from Spell Check, click on Utilities, Fields Settings and check the

option.

To configure Spell Check, click on Utilities, Spell Check Configuration
