Activate Security
Check this box to activate security. You may want to activate security to restrict access to ResourceMateŽ or to allow patrons to do self circulation.
Super User Password
Establish a password for Super. If you don't establish this password, there is no reason to activate security as anyone will be able to run ResourceMateŽ.
Confirm
Enter the password for Super again. Comparing this to your first entry of the password will ensure that your password has been recorded as you expected.
Allow Patron User Login
Check this box if you would like self circulation to be available to patrons. Click here to learn how to give patrons access to patron search only.
Patron User Password
We recommend that you not establish a patron password unless only specific patrons should be allowed access.
Confirm
If you have established a password for patrons, enter it again. Comparing this to your first entry of the password will ensure that your password has been recorded as you expected.
Check Out
Check this box if you would like patrons to be able to check out items on their own.
Check In - by Patron
Check this box if you would like patrons to be able to check in items on their own. In the Check In by Patron screen, they would choose their name and then see all items they have checked out.
Check In
Check this box if you would like patrons to be able to check in items on their own. In the Check In screen, they have to select each item they currently have checked out. Check in by Patron may be an easier option for them.
Waiting/Reserve
Check this box if you would like patrons to be able to reserve items, or put themselves on the waiting list for items currently checked out.
Save
Click to save the changes you have made. If security has just been activated, you will be asked to login.
Cancel
Click to cancel any changes you have made.
