Search, Run Patron Search

On this screen you see the details of the items that met your search criteria.  You will see a listing in the top portion of the screen and details in the bottom portion of the screen.

Click this button to go back and try a different search.

Book Bin (Advanced Patron Search Add On Module)

Add Item to Book Bin

Choose this option to add the currently highlighted item into the book bin.

Note:

If this is the first item you are adding to the book bin, choose "Clear Entire Book bin" to clear what is already in the book bin.  It may contain results from some else's searching.

Add All Selected Items to Book Bin

Choose this option if you have clicked on the check box in the search results to choose a number of items.

Remove an item from Book Bin

This option will be available when you are in the Book Bin.  Choose this option to delete the highlighted item from the book bin.

Clear Entire Book Bin

Choose this option before you begin to add items to your book bin, or after you are all done with the book bin.  That way you won't add to someone else's items in the book bin and the next person won't add to your list of items.

Click this button to choose a printed listing, details or bibliography report. Also choose whether you want to report all search results or selected search results.  If you have purchased the Advanced Patron Search Add On Module you can also choose whether you want to report all search results, selected search results or the contents of the book bin.

Click this button to see only the top portion listing.  This can be helpful if you have a number of results you need to scan through.  When you have found the item(s) you are interested in, click on

to see the details again.

Click on this to see a list of fields

You can then check or uncheck the information you would like to see.

Check this column to include a specific item(s) on a printed report (or add to the book bin if you have purchased the Advanced Patron Search Add On Module).

You can also right click on an item to see the following menu.

Select

Choose this option to check this item.

Select All

Choose this option to check all items.

Unselect All

Choose this option to uncheck all items.

Invert Selection

Choose this option to uncheck all checked items and check all unchecked items.

Add item to Book Bin (Advanced Patron Search Add On Module)

Choose this option to add the currently highlighted item into the book bin.

Add All Selected Items to Book Bin (Advanced Patron Search Add On Module)

Choose this option if you have clicked on the check box in the search results to choose a number of items.

You can click on the arrow to the right of the column heading to filter the search results.  This allows you to search within your search results.

You can click on the column to sort by that information.  When the arrow is pointing up, the results will be sorted in ascending order (a-z).  When the arrow is pointing down, the results will be sorted in descending order (z-a).

Click on this tab to see the details of an item in a library card format.

Click on this tab to see comments the librarian has made about this item.

Click on this tab to see notes about this item.

Click on this tab to see multimedia information for this item.
