How Do I's

Reports, Report Title/Header/Footer

This is where you can make changes to the title, header and footer of all reports.  You can even create new titles, headers or footers to use on specific reports or for specific purposes.

The sections (Title, Header and Footer) are all similar.  The Title section prints on the top of the first page of every report, the Header section prints on the top of every page of every report, the Footer section prints on the bottom of every page of every report.

We will explain the Title section.

List

The list shows all title formats that have been setup.  The format with the

to the left of it is the default format.

Click this button to create a new format.  You will be prompted to enter a name for this new format.  The ResourceMateŽ Report Builder will be launched.  Click here to learn about modifying.

Print our logo on reports instead of the ResourceMateŽ logo

Click this button to modify an existing format.  The Standard formats that came with  ResourceMateŽ cannot be modified.  Click New to create your own format, then modify it.  You can then use that format as your default.

Click this button to delete an existing format.  The Standard formats that came with ResourceMateŽ cannot be deleted.  You can create a new format and use that as the default format.

Use the highlighted format as the default.  After it has been set as the default, you will see

to the left of it.

Click this button to change the Page Title Comment.  The same applies for the Page Header Comment and the Page Footer Comment.  If you have purchased the Spell Check Add On Module, you may click on a Spell Check button after you have entered your comment.

Easily change the logo without having to go into the Report Layout Modifier.

Preview Window

As you change from format to format you will see the change reflected in the preview window.  As you make changes to existing formats you will also see those changes in the preview window.

Click this button to see a full page preview.

Click this button to see a full page width preview.  You won't see the whole page but everything will appear larger than the full page preview.

Click this button to see a normal view.  You will see the top left portion of the page preview.

Click this button to see how the title, header and footer will look if the report is set to landscape instead of portrait.  Clicking this button does not save a format in landscape.
