Patron:

Displays the person that has not returned the lost item.


Item:

Displays the item information.


Check in Date:

Enter the date the item is checked in (declared as lost).


Check this box to charge the calculated overdue fine.


Check this box to change the status of this particular item to a status of your choice, usually Lost.


Check this box if you will be charging the replacement value cost to the patron.


Check this box and enter a payment amount if you have received a payment towards this lost item.


Note:

If you have Extended Circulation and have set a maximum fine per person or family, the fine amount may be adjusted to stay within the maximum fine.  The replacement value charge (if chosen) will not be adjusted.
