How Do I's

File, Items, Multimedia

Use this tab to store many pictures, videos, sound clips, etc. with this item.

Click this button to Add Image from File...

Click this button to choose Add Image from File... or Add Image from Scanner...

Multimedia Type

This information is optional. You can choose from a list or enter your own.

Description

Enter more details if necessary

Multimedia File

Enter the name of the file you would like to store. It is much easier to click on

to point to the file

Click Ok to store the file you have chosen

Click Cancel so the file you chose does not get stored

Add Image from Scanner

Scale

Choose between Eighth, Quarter, Half and Full Size to determine the scale of the scanned image. The default is full size.

Progressive

Gray Scale

Check this box to scan a colour image as Black and White

Get Image from TWAIN Device

Click this button to launch your scanner software to scan the item

Click Ok to store the image you have scanned

Click Cancel so the image you scanned does not get stored

Click this button to change the Multimedia name, Description or Multimedia file.

Click this button to delete the multimedia object that has been stored.

Click this button to create a file from the stored object. The Save Multimedia dialog will fill in the original file name, however you can change that.

Note:

Ensure the correct file extension is used. A .jpg cannot be saved as a .gif, etc.

If two or more objects have been stored, their order can be changed by clicking on the object on the left side and clicking these arrows.

If two or more objects have been stored, click this button to determine which object will print if you choose to show multimedia on an item report.
