Search, Run Patron Search, Multiple Prompt Search

The multiple prompt search allows you to search based on a number of fields using and/or conditions.
Resource Type
Click the down arrow on the right side of the Resource Type field if you want to search a specific resource type. Click on the selected resource type. You may also click on

to select multiple resource types.
Subject
Enter the first few letters of a subject you want to search for. You may enter the subject in either uppercase or lowercase.

any conditions can be met
in order for any item to be found
Title
Enter the first few letters of a title you want to search for. You may enter the title in either uppercase or lowercase. The title, sub-title and series information will be searched.
Author
Enter the first few letters of an author you want to search for. You may enter the author in either uppercase or lowercase. The author, 2nd Author, 3rd Author, editor, illustrator and Statement of Responsibility will be searched.
Keyword Search
Enter the first few letters of a keyword you want to search for. You may enter the keyword in either uppercase or lowercase.

There are 4 search fields that you can choose. They will be pre-selected based on the librarians choices. The librarian can configure these by clicking on Utilities, Preferences, Patron Search.
You can click on this box and choose any other field you would like to search. Fields will be availabe on this list based on the selection made in Utilities, Field Settings, Item, Patron can search.

Book Bin (Advanced Patron Search Add On Module)

This will show as empty until you add an item to the book bin. Then it will display as

Click on this to go to the book bin.
The book bin is a list of items that you have saved from a particular search. The main purpose of the book bin is so you can do a search, store some items from that search, do another search, store some items, then when all done searching, go into the book bin and view, print or e-mail the items you have accumulated in the book bin.

Click this button, or press Enter, to run the search.

Click this button to clear all previous search criteria from the screen.
Last Search Results
Click here to view the last search results without running the search again.
