File, Items, Main
If you are cataloging your library using the Dewey Decimal System, enter the Dewey decimal call number on the Library Card Information tab. Do not enter the Dewey decimal call number into the location field.
Location was originally intended for items such as cassettes and cd's that tend to be stored in cases. The name of the case (Case 1) would be entered as the location.
As you enter the first few letters of the location, the field will be filled in. You can also click on
to see the full list
To add a new location, simply type it in. When you exit the field the new location will be added.
Delete a location
To delete a location, see the section, Change Utility under the Utilities Menu.
Press [TAB] when finished entering this information.

Entry of this information is optional.

To set a default value whenever new items are added, do the following

To indicate whether this field is searchable by patrons, do the following
Regular or Plus - Utilities, Field Settings, Item - check the box in the "Patron Can Search" column
To indicate whether this field is available in a keyword search, do the following
Regular or Plus - Utilities, Field Settings, Item - check the box in the "Include in Keyword Search" column
