File, Items, Main
Click this button to search libraries by title/author. This is especially handy when an isbn has not been found.
Note:
You can also use Library Search to search Amazon for videos and music!

Title/Author/Subject Search
This is the default option. Choose this to be able to search by fields other than isbn.
ISBN Only Search
Choose this to search only by isbn. This is the same as entering the isbn on the Main tab in File, Items and click on ISBN Retrieval.
Local ISBN Only search
Choose this option if you don't have internet access. This is the same as entering the isbn on the Main tab in File, Items and click on ISBN Retrieval.

Click here to choose the library you want to search. The libraries displayed will be based on your choice in Utilities, ISBN Retrieval Library Configuration

Click this button to choose the libraries available in the Library name dropdown.

Choose the number of items returned per page. The maximum is 20.

The search options available will be similar to those available at www.loc.gov/z3950.
Searching Amazon

When you are searching books, the first option available in the Search by box is Power search. This gives you a multi line search tools. Power search in only available for Books.

On this screen you can choose the item you want to import and make any changes that are necessary.

Pages refer to each group of 10 (value set in #items/page) items found. You retrieve another 10 items by clicking on next page.
First Page
Click here to go back of the first 10 results.
Prev Page
Click here to go back to the previous 10 found items.
Next Page
Click here to get the next 10 found items.
Last Page
Click here to get the previous items of this search.
Goto Page#
Go to a specific page of items found.
Click on

to see the subjects and notes that will be added.
If the item was found on Amazon you will also see the following tab.

Click on this tab choose whether to import the retrieved image (Plus version) into the Multimedia tab. You can also choose whether you want the retrieved book description added into the Notes tab.

Click on this tab to see the information that was retrieved from the source.
With searches other than Amazon, you can make changes to the source data and click on

Clicking this button will re-parse the text into the ResourceMate fields.
After you have confirmed the information you see, click on
