Extended circulation Overview

Establish circulation restrictions

Click on Circulation, Extended Circulation, System Settings

Restrict patrons from checking out items / Give patrons more privileges than everyone else has

Click on File, Patrons, System Settings

Give a group of patrons stronger restrictions / privileges

Click on Circulation, Extended Circulation, Patron Group, Detail, System Settings

Give a group of patrons

longer checkout period for a particular resource type

higher or lower daily fine

higher or lower weekly fine

higher or lower Maximum number checked out

indicate that a resource type can or cannot be checked out

Click on Circulation, Extended Circulation, Patron Group, Detail, Resource Type Settings

Give a specific patron

longer checkout period for a particular resource type

higher or lower daily fine

higher or lower weekly fine

higher or lower Maximum number checked out

indicate that a resource type can or cannot be checked out

Click on File, Patrons, Resource Type Settings
