Renewal Creates New Circulation Record (Extended Circulation Add on Module)

Check this preference if you would like a renewal to create a new circulation record for the renewal.  The current circulation record will be checked in and a new check out record will be created.  This is handy if statistically you want to treat renewals as additional circulation transactions.

Renewal will be based on Todays Date (Extended Circulation Add on Module)

If you have checked "Renewal created new circulation record", checking this option will ensure that the renewal date will be based on today's date, not the expected back date of the circulation record.

Calculate Fine for Original Circulation Record (Extended Circulation Add on Module)

Uncheck this box if you don't want the patron to be fined for the overdue time even though they are renewing.

Perform Extended Circulation Patron Checks  (Extended Circulation Add on Module)

Check this box if you want Checkout restrictions performed when a person renews an item.
