A report template (what you see after you click on Modify Report Layout) is made up of a number of pieces referred to as objects. The most common objects are label objects (column headings) and data objects (actual information from your tables).
Select an object
To select an object, simply click on it. You will see that it has been selected.

Select multiple objects
Click on the first object, hold down the Shift key and click on more or more other objects. You will see that they have been selected.
Move an object or objects
After the object or objects have been selected, hold down the Ctrl key and use the up arrow, down arrow, left arrow or right arrow to move the object or objects.
Decrease or increase the width of an object or objects
After the object or objects have been selected, hold down the Shift key and use the left arrow to decrease, or the right arrow to increase he width of the object or objects.
Change a reported field
click on the data component whose reported information you want to change
In the edit box at the top of your screen
change the field to one of the other fields in the list.
If the edit box is not visible at the top of your screen, click on View, Toolbars, Edit.
