Plus, Import Process, New, Import Items from MARC File, Analyze MARC File

Run this utility to determine whether the chosen MARC file has any tags that won't get imported.  You then have the option of mapping them to a ResourceMateŽ field.

The left section lists MARC tags that were found in the MARC file but are not currently mapped to a ResourceMateŽ field.  The list is sorted numerically so you can view the unmapped tags that will affect the highest number of items being imported.

The right section gives examples of data from the highlighted MARC tag on the left side.

Click this button to map the highlighted MARC tag to a field in ResourceMateŽ.  You will then see

Click on the dropdown arrow to choose the ResourceMate field to map this MARC tag to.  User defined fields you have established in Utilities, User Defined Fields are available in this list.

This indicates the number of records that will be imported from the chosen MARC file.

After you have mapped additional tags to ResourceMate fields, click this button to confirm that those MARC tags no longer show in the list of tags not mapped to ResourceMate.

Click here when you are finished any additional mappings.  You can then Import your MARC File.
