Use this option to activate and register your copy of ResourceMateŽ.

Serial Number

When you first run ResourceMateŽ. you will be asked to enter the serial number.  this is the serial number that is on the inside cover of your manual, on the outside of the ResourceMateŽ box or on the e-mail you received when you purchased ResourceMateŽ via e-commerce.  For assistance in locating your serial number, contact Jaywil Software.

Enter Serial Number Later

You can choose to enter the serial number later, although you will only be able to run ResourceMateŽ 20 times without entering a serial number, after that you must enter a proper serial number to continue using the product.

This screen will continue to appear until you enter a proper serial number.  You can also access this screen by clicking on Help, Activate and Register your copy of ResourceMateŽ.

After you have enter a proper serial number, you will see

Enter the name that will appear on the top of all reports you generate with ResourceMateŽ.  It will also appear in the title bar of ResourceMateŽ.

You will then see

Registration gives you 3 free months of support.

If you have an internet connection, the "by Internet option will be available".  You can Register Later.  Be aware that you only have 20 grace finds using the ISBN Retrieval feature within ResourceMateŽ.  After that you have to be registered with support up to date in order to be able to use the ISBN Retrieval feature.

If you choose "by phone" you will see

After you have called Jaywil Software the customer support representative will give you a Registration code.  Enter it here to complete your registration.

If you choose "by Internet" you will see

Fill out this information and either click on "Submit Registration Information" or click the "Next" button.  Your information will been sent to Jaywil Software and you will receive a temporary registration code.  This will allow you to continue using the ISBN Retrieval feature (and download program updates) until you receive a new support code from Jaywil Software.

When you receive your registration code from Jaywil Software, click on Help, Enter Support Renewal Code and enter the code they give you.

As you update your yearly annual support, you will choose this option to enter the new support renewal code you will receive every year.

Whenever you enter a new support renewal code, you will see

followed by the date your support ends.
