Support
Records that seemingly can't be found; or records don't
seem to sort properly.
You may have accidentally added leading
spaces at the start of some of your important data fields
like Title, Author, Call Number or Subject. When you then
search by one of these fields, items may not be found.
This is because computer sort order sequences do not look
correct if data has one or more leading spaces.
To repair your
data, exit ResourceMate® if it is running then right-click
on the following link: callfix.ap
and choose "Save Target As..." (Users with Netscape
version 6 or later, choose "Save
Link As...". If you have an ealier version contact
us). Specify to Save the file into the folder C:\RM
(or wherever you have installed ResourceMate® and
rename it filech2.app
. (Note the added 2
character in the filename and make
sure you rename the extension from .ap
to .app).
After the file
is downloaded and you have renamed it, run ResourceMate®.
You will be asked which fields you want to re-format to
remove leading spaces.
